If there is one Nigerian woman whose life has singularly touched and turned many lives around, that woman would be Pastor Mrs Ibukun Motunrayo Awosika.
Ibukun Awosika is not your everyday kind of woman but a woman with many paths, a woman whose life clearly defines grace, wisdom and strength.
She is a business magnate, prolific writer, inspirational and motivational speaker per excellence whose life has greatly inspired young people to shine.
She is the Chairman Board of Directors , First Bank, she is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Chair Centre Group that has about 6 companies involved in manufacturing Retail and Bank-Way Security Systems Services.
Asides her earthly achievements, Awosika is also an Ordained Pastor of The Fountain Of Life Church. She has mentored a lot of Women including Africa’s leading Beauty and makeup Entrepreneur Tara Durotoye.
Madam Awosika has founded several faith-based organizations with hundreds of missionaries spread across Nigeria to change lives through provision of medical, educational, and other supplies.
One peculiar thing about Mrs Awosika is her passion for creating entrepreneurs, her own way of bringing her dear nation out of the throes of unemployment.
As a fellow of the African Leadership Initiative, Aspen Global Leadership Network, Institute of Directors, and Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria, Ibukun, through her projects constantly uses her opportunities in life to raise entrepreneurs amongst the large unemployed youthful population.
A multiple award-winning entrepreneur, and the First Nigerian recipient of the prestigious International Women Entrepreneurial Challenge Award (IWEC) as a nominee of the US Department of State in 2008.
Amongst friends and close associates, Awosika is referred to as the ‘Boardroom Guru’… It takes an extraordinary woman to achieve the feats achieved by this great woman of virtue.
