Redeemer’s University and RCCG come under fire for expelling graduating student!

Expelled student with VP Osinbajo

The Redeemer’s University, a private and expensive tertiary institution exclusively owned by the Redeemed Christian Church of God has had it’s faith and doctrine questioned after the expulsion of a graduating student Dayo Adebowale.

According to the expulsion letter dated October 6th, Dayo was accused of writing defamatory articles on his social media page, an article which according to the letter threw the school and some of its officials in a bad light.

Meanwhile, Dayo Adebowale was reportedly supposed to be amongst the convocating students in about a week’s time.
Reacting to the expulsion, the aggrieved student who has no plans of forfeiting his four years of hard study and not little expenses has cried out on Twitter, a move that has left Twitter buzzing with a hashtag for the school.

The article he was expelled for…

Many celebrities have called out to the School using the trending hashtag that forgiveness should be one of the virtues preached by the Christian school.

His numerous awards

Displaying several memorabilia, Dayo has portrayed himself as a very diligent student whose four years in school were spent studying and gathering plaques and awards for himself.

According to Banky W, fine, Dayo might have erred with the said article, but expulsion should not be his punishment at his level.
Following the tags, several tweets have been directed at the school and church to look into the matter and do what Christ would do!
