2023: ‘Go and rest, don’t bother to contest,’ Edwin Clark warns Tinubu, backs Osinbajo for president

The leader of Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, Edwin Clark, has warned the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, against contesting in the 2023 general election.

Speaking on Arise TV, Clark advised the former Lagos governor to go and rest.

Clark stated that he would prefer to vote for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to become Nigeria’s next president than support Tinubu.

He described the Osinbajo as an intelligent man who has the quality to rule Nigeria.

“The South-West is the most educated and sophisticated people in Nigeria. But Tinubu should go and rest,” Clark said.

“Other than the Igbos, I would vote for the Vice President; he is an intelligent fellow.”

He also criticised the APC leader for not being courageous enough to challenge those in authority on the affairs of the nation.

“How many times have we heard Tinubu talking about the affairs of this nation or criticising those in power?”
