The South West Agenda for Asiwaju 2023 (SWAGA ’23) has unveiled its secretariat in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The ceremony attracted notable political gladiators and associates of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu from all the six States in the South West including Kwara and Kogi, also witnessed the inauguration of the Women’s Wing of SWAGA ’23 in Oyo state.
Speaking at the event, the national chairman of SWAGA ’23, Sen. Dayo Adeyeye said the move followed diligent consideration of Tinubu’s pedigree, experience and track record.
He noted that there is a need for an exceptionally brilliant mind, competent person and patriotic character to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
“It is a thing of joy to us and every well-meaning Nigerian that Asiwaju is today the candidate to beat as far as the 2023 presidential election is concerned.
“We are very ready to take the gospel of Tinubu-for-President to every nook and cranny of the country and we are here today to reawaken the consciousness of our people in Ibadan, which is arguably the political headquarters of the South West, and also the whole of Oyo state to justify their status as the pacesetters.
