‘God’s anger coming for you,’ Odunlade Adekola warns those claiming he demands sex for role
Nollywood actor, Odunlade Adekola, has issued a fiery rebuttal to multiple allegations of demanding sex before allowing actresses to feature in his movies.
A notorious blog recently published claims that the movie veteran, who is married with children, usually had sex with young female acts before giving them roles.
A certain Nike, whom Adekola allegedly dated for said purpose, was also said to have insulted the actor’s wife to her face in protest against his ‘sex for role’ policy.
But Adekola, in a video shared on social media, has asked his accusers to show proof of his alleged malfeasance or face God’s anger.
“I’m a disciplinarian,” the actor said. “If you have any proof of these claims, come out and post it under this video. Don’t cover for me. If you do, God will not cover you. If I’ve ever demanded sex from you before giving you a role, come out and say it,” he said.
“I joined this industry in 1996. I was on the road, driving to locations when you were asleep. You now think this is the time for you to bring me down,” Adekola protested.
The actor said he would speak further on the issue today.
