Actress Osas Ighodaro since her emergence on the scene has remained a force to reckon with. Osas is not only an actor, she is also a host, producer, and humanitarian.
Osas, is also a graduate of Pennsylvania State University where she bagged a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and dual minor degrees in Entrepreneurship and Theatre. Not stopping there, she went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Acting from the Actor’s Studio Drama School at Pace University.
The ace actress has also starred in several top-grossing movies including ‘Rattlesnake’, ‘Smart Money Woman’, ‘Fela and the Kalakuta Queens’, ‘Cadillac Records’ & ‘Tyler Perry’s ‘Meet the Browns’ amongst other top films.
She is also the CEO of ‘Joy of Art Media & Entertainment, a media outlet aimed at churning out entertaining and impactful projects.
In 2018, Osas was named the ‘Highest Grossing Box Office Actress’ in Nollywood and also made the Top 3 National finalists in the American Black Film Festival/NBC Universal Star Project – monologue competition.
Being a philanthropist, the actress and mom of one is also an advocate against the spread of preventable diseases and in turn is the founder of the NGO, Joyful Joy Foundation, whose aim is to eradicate Malaria throughout Africa.
