Katsina hosts maiden North/West, UNDP security summit

As Katsina State host the inaugural security summit organised by the North-West Governors’ Forum in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme, traditional rulers from the region have started arriving at the General Muhammadu Buhari House, Kastina, the venue of the event.

Vice President Kashim Shettima is expected to declare the event open, while seven governors of Katsina, Kano, Jigawa, Sokoto, Zamfara, Kebbi and Sokoto states are also expected at the venue.

The Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Saad Abubakar, and the Emir of Zaria, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamali, have arrived at the venue of the security summit.
