NANS President Accuses Seyi Tinubu of Orchestrating Brutal Abduction
Atiku Abubakar Isah, President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), has alleged that Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, and factional leader Ladoja Olusola ordered armed thugs to abduct and brutalize him in Abuja.
In a statement on Wednesday, Isah claimed he was beaten, stripped naked, and forced to record an involuntary statement at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) studio. He said the incident stemmed from Seyi Tinubu allegedly declaring him an enemy after his victory at the 125th NANS convention.
Despite repeated petitions to the Inspector-General of Police and other security agencies, Isah said no action was taken to protect him. He vowed to continue leading Nigerian students without fear, thanking those who rallied for his release.
“No amount of intimidation will make us surrender to the enemies,” he declared.
