“I Don’t Need Validation from Political Opportunists Like Bwala” – Atiku Fires Back

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has slammed Daniel Bwala, now Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu, for his recent critical comments. Atiku, in a strongly worded statement, said he does not need validation from “political opportunists” like Bwala, who once served as his campaign spokesperson.
Describing Bwala’s remarks as “ironic and pathetic,” Atiku accused him of switching loyalties to curry favor with a “floundering administration.” He maintained that Bwala’s relevance stems from the platform Atiku once gave him, urging humility instead of arrogance.
Atiku also questioned the Tinubu administration’s obsession with him, saying it reflects fear of the growing coalition he is building to “rescue Nigeria.” He reaffirmed his focus on national reform and described himself as a consistent patriot whose legacy cannot be erased by defectors turned defenders of dysfunction.
