‘BBNaija not direct ticket to Nollywood,’ AGN president tells Tega, Boma
Housemates evicted from Big Brother Naija shouldn’t expect an easy ride into the movie industry, Actors Guild of Nigeria chief Emeka Rollas says.
“Nollywood is not a dumping ground for evictees! Case closed,” Rollas said following the eviction of six housemates from reality TV show BBNaija on Sunday.
Tega, Boma, Peace and Michael were evicted from the show, with Tega and Boma declaring their interest in the movie industry.
When the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu asked Tega about her reported romance with Boma, Tega, who is married, stated that they were acting a script because they were both “good actors”.
She went on to state that what she did with Boma in the house was just a strategy between them to entertain BBNaija viewers.
“That’s the script we decided to play out.We are both good actors… I hope you guys enjoyed our film,” she said.
Ebuka further asked how her husband will react to the whole situation.
The married mother-of-one stated that her husband will understand her actions because he’s a ‘bad guy’.
“My husband is a bad guy, he wouldn’t take this seriously,” she added.
Asides Tega, Boma also declared interest in acting as he had featured in Hollywood movies in the past.
Boma mentioned that he was going to make a movie on mental health once he’s settled after the show.
