Chioma Ude: GoldMyne Woman of the Week
At GoldMyne, we celebrate everyone doing great things, women and men alike. On the women series, this week, we have selected an amazing woman who is doing great things in entertainment and films, Chioma Ude. She is a Nigerian entertainment executive, who, in 2010, founded Africa International Film Festival, a film festival held annually in Nigeria. She has a degree in Marketing, University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Chioma is doing great in career as she just concluded the 14th edition of AFRIFF, AFRica Film Festival, which was themed “Rhythms of the Continent: The Afrobeats Film Movement.

Chioma is also doing great as a mother to all five of her children.
She is a woman worth celebrating for her resilience, dedication, hardwork and innovative stance in the African film industry, as a mother and a human making impact in her society. Through AFRIFF training program, she has trained a lot of young people. She is a force whose work has been recognised and who has been named one of Deadline Hollywood’s 2025 Disruptors in Film and Television. She is a trailblazer whose impact will continue to be felt.
