‘Go Home’ is another proof of Blaqbonez’s tiresome consistency [REVIEW]
...this guy's tenacious
Since the inception of time, rap music has seen its share of cerebral rappers as well as, bottom-of-the-barrel copycats who yearly, churn out records that either have many of us questioning our intelligence and or sanity.
For many, Blaq’s consistency as ‘annoying’ continued on this record. Armed with a headache-inducing mixing job, lyrical misogyny and a heart that just won’t quit, it is safe to say he has attained another level of respect with his nonchalant fans screaming the following lyrics;
“It’s been a nice week
You’ve been in the crib
You Cooking & Cleaning
On a wifey thing…
“But it’s time to go home!
Go Home
Go home, go home
I don’t want that thing no more
Go Home,
Go home, Go home…”
These lyrics have automatically aided in generating a feather of street credibility that comes instantly glued to Blaqbonez’ colourful rear.
On the other end of the spectrum live the few who can immediately pick up on the bruised ego exhibited the entire 3.15 minutes Blaqbonez yelped his latest feat. Whatever spectrum one finds self with Blaq, his coarse appearance, quirkiness, and creative artworks, will continue to sell his music
Video production
I have followed Perlik’s production for a while and he is one artist who creates visually stimulating pieces, this project lacks this and has me suggesting he gets a refresher course on creating inspiring art.
