I made N9 billion in 2021 — Davido

Superstar singer David Adeleke, popularly called Davido, says that he made over N9 billion in the outgoing year.
The year indeed has been an eventful one for the 30BG boss — from mourning his aides, Obama DMW and his photographer Fortunate Umurname Peter aka Fortune, to acquiring exotic automobiles, including the 2021 Rolls Royce Cullinan and Lamborghini Aventador.
He also celebrated his birthday by raising N200 million for charity and adding N50 million from his own wallet to top N250 million.
In 2021, Davido collaborated with Nigerian artistes and several others around the globe.
His latest hit collaboration is “Champion Sound” which features South African’s “Focalistic”. The hit is an Amapiano tune that music lovers and clubbers continue to enjoy.
Davido also signed ambassadorial deals with top global brands like Puma and a couple of others.
The award-winning singer also marked his 10th year in the music industry. The event tagged ‘A Decade of Davido’ had the 29-year-old performing before a multitude inside Eko Convention Centre with several of his colleagues including Olamide, Adekunle Gold, Naira Marley, Tiwa Savage, amongst others.
In a recent Instastory post, the “Aye” singer revealed he made over N9 billion in 2021.
