Nigerians Slam Aunty Esther After Refusal of Blood Transfusion Despite 30 Million Naira Donation

Nigerian market shopper Mensah Omolola, popularly known as Auntie Esther on X, has stirred major reactions online after news broke that she’s refusing a blood transfusion even after receiving over 30 million naira in donations for her cancer treatment.Earlier on, she shared on her X page that her diagnosis had been confirmed and the cancer had already spread to her breast and armpit area

This came shortly after one of the crowdfunding efforts on X, led by Wizarab10, the media personality known for rallying people together for charity. With the help of Nigerians, he raised 30,776,252 naira for her on December 1st, 2025.

But everything took a different turn when Obi Dickson tweeted on Thursday that the Jehovah’s Witness church was allegedly threatening to disfellowship her if she goes ahead with a blood transfusion. That tweet alone scattered the whole timeline, as many people couldn’t believe that after all the support Nigerians gave her, she might not accept a life saving procedure.
