Police Nab Two International Fugitives Wanted for Human Trafficking and Robbery

The Nigeria Police Force has arrested two internationally wanted fugitives: Felix Omoregie, a suspected human trafficking kingpin sought by Belgian authorities, and Okwudili Ezeje, linked to a Dubai-based armed robbery syndicate.

Omoregie, also known as “Eghosa Johnson Omoregie,” was captured in Benin City after being convicted in absentia in Belgium in 2021 for trafficking young Nigerian women—including minors—into Europe for sexual exploitation. He used voodoo rituals and fabricated debts to control his victims.

In a separate operation, police operatives in collaboration with INTERPOL arrested 37-year-old Ezeje in Nsukka, Enugu State. He is wanted in the UAE for armed robbery, drug trafficking, and cultism, including high-profile robberies in Dubai and Sharjah.

Both arrests were hailed as major breakthroughs in the fight against transnational crime, with arraignments expected soon.
