Remi Sonaiya: Police stop former presidential candidate, request money for lunch

Former presidential hopeful Remi Sonaiya has complained about ‘unprofessional’ conduct she said some police officers displayed towards her.

“Just got pulled over at a police check point,” she said in a tweet on Monday afternoon.

“‘Ah, we just want to collect food money from our mummy’.

“Where do you even begin from in order to address this total lack of professionalism and self-respect?”

Sonaiya was the presidential candidate for Kowa Party in the 2015 general elections.
