The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Ismaila Mustapha, the socialite better known as Mompha, a wanted person.

The Nigerian law enforcement agency that investigates financial crimes and money laundering, Ecomomic And Financial Crime Commission [EFCC] has declared Instagram sensation, Ismaila Mustapha, popularly known as Mompha, wanted.

This was made known on Wednesday in a statement signed by the spokesperson of the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren.

GOLDMYNETV reports that the ‘wanted’ notice was posted on the official Twitter account of the anti-graft agency.

The statement read: “The general public is hereby notified that Ismaila Mustapha, whose photograph appears above is wanted by the EFCC in an alleged case of Retention of Proceeds of Criminal Conduct, Possession of Document Containing False Pretences, False Assets Declaration and Laundering of Proceeds of Unlawful Conduct.”

The Commission beseeched anyone with useful information as to his whereabout “should contact the EFCC or the nearest police station.”
