The Legacy Continues: Wizkid’s Son Bolu ‘Champz’ Balogun Drops Debut EP “Champions arrival”

The apple truly doesn’t fall far from the tree , does it?
We’ve seen several artistes follow in their father’s footsteps, some even carving out bigger names for themselves. From the legendary Kuti family to Art and Darey Art Alade, Barrister and Barry Jhay, and now, the latest addition, Boluwatife Balogun, also known as Champz, the son of Ayo Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid.
Recently, videos of Boluwatife recording at The Plug Studios, with his mum hyping him up in the background, have been making rounds online sparking conversations about whether he was gearing up to pursue music. Well, that question has now been answered.
Boluwatife “Champz” Balogun just released his debut EP, “Champions Arrival,” on November 11, 2025.
It’s worth recalling that Wizkid once said he’d sign his son to a lifetime deal with Starboy Records if he ever decided to do music in his words, “more money for the family.”
The 5-track EP is already gaining impressive traction for a debut project.
It’s safe to say Boluwatife “Champz” Balogun is now on our Next rated watchlist just like his father once was.
