All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has paid a condolence visit to former ‘common sense’ senator, Ben Murray-Bruce.
Murray-Bruce is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The visit followed the death of Madam Margaret Murray-Bruce, the former Bayelsa lawmaker’s mother.
“Today, I received the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who paid me a courtesy visit at my mum’s residence in Yaba, Lagos. I’m grateful for his presence even in this grieving period for my family and I,” Murray-Bruce wrote in a social media post.
He also shared photos from the family visit.
The visit came barely 24 hours after Tinubu returned to Nigeria from the UK on Sunday.
The former Lagos governor recently said he has told President Muhammadu Buhari he intends to succeed him in 2023.
