The Sokoto State Government has flagged off the registration and verification of motorcycle and tricycle riders.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Special Duties, Saidu Gumburawa, said the registration is to ensure the safety and security of members of the riders’ association and their passengers.
According to him, the registration exercise became necessary due to the security situation in the state.
