University of Ibadan (UI) is the best institution of higher learning of its kind in Nigeria, at least for Year 2021.
This is according to the National Universities Commission (NUC).
Redeemer’s University, which is owned by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), is ranked second and just ahead of Covenant University, a school owned by Living Faith Church (aka Winners Chapel).
These schools are, according to the NUC, ranked higher than the University of Lagos (UNILAG) which used to be tagged ‘the university of first choice” because of the volume of admission applications it got every year.
