VIDEO: Amotekun rescues alleged kidnappers from jungle justice
Two alleged kidnappers would have been killed save for the timely intervention of Western Security Network (WNSN), popularly known as Amotekun Corps.
In a video shared online Wednesday, local fact-finders said the kidnappers usually travelled from Abeokuta in Ogun state to Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, where they kidnap their victims.
One of the alleged kidnappers, a man, was said to have confessed to being part of three kidnapping gigs. The other person, a woman, allegedly said she had taken part in six of such criminal operations.
They were apprehended while allegedly trying to add another feather to their wickedness.
Angry villagers reportedly descended on them, dishing out blood-taking blows and leaving them with swollen eyes and other bodily damages.
Amotekun operatives were said to have rescued the duo from the mob.
