While several political figures have been travelling to London to say ‘hello’ to former Lagos governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu, other stakeholders are back home, demanding equal and fair representation in the All Progressives Congress (APC).
A group of such stakeholders recently gathered to call for an end to what it described as the APC national leader’s ‘supremacy’ over the affairs of the party in Lagos.
The members of the group, led by the creator of Jandor Foundation, Jide Adediran, sang various songs to drive home their belief that “Lagos belongs to Lagos and Lagosians” and not to some sole decider.
The move, we gathered, was also part of Adediran’s ‘Lagos4Lagos’ agenda which demands that anyone who wants to hold an elective post in the state should be an indigene of the state.
