Funke Akindele prefers dignified silence over social media controversy with JJC Skillz — source
Days after her husband, Abdulrasheed Bello, popularly known as JJC Skillz, announced that they have gone their separate ways, Nollywood star Funke Akindele, remains silent.
JJC Skillz, who confirmed the separation in an Instagram post on Thursday, said things had not been going well between him and the actress in the last two years, adding that all efforts expended on reconciling their differences had proved abortive.
In the post, JJC Skillz said his wife insisted that he should move out of their matrimonial home as he confirmed that he had parted ways with her.
The couple who got married on August 23, 2016, welcomed a set of twins two years after.
In April, there were speculations that the couple’s marriage was in crisis. The rumour, however, fizzled out as JJC Skillz took to his Instagram handle to show support to his wife.
Efforts made to speak with Funke Akindele did not yield a positive report, Punch reported Thursday.
Funke Akindele, a source told GoldMyneTV on Friday, “prefers to maintain a dignified silence than slug it out with JJC Skillz on social media”.
Akindele echoed the same in an interview she had with media personality Chude Jideonwo weeks ago.
