Nigerian preacher, Isaiah Wealth says a former president will soon die and that the death will “erase something” from the history of Nigeria.
The Isaiah Wealth Ministries founder said he saw a vision in which the former president was dribbling many people and then passed the ball to another former leader.
He said the second former leader who received the ball was Ernest Shonekan who died recently. Wealth said he saw the vision 37 days before Shonekan died, and predicted that former military head of state, Gen Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB), will, according to his vision, kick the bucket soon.
Wealth said the eventually would erase Babangida’s “error” of June 12, 1993, in which the former dictator annulled MKO Abiola’s election victory.
“There is something that will happen in this country,” he said in a video shared on his ministry’s Facebook page.

“There is an ex-president that will pass. And then I see another ex-president. I see this ex-president playing football. And I am seeing him dribbling a lot of people.
“Then I see him pass to another ex-president. Why is this important? (It is important) Because it will erase something out of the nation.
“It is normal for people to pass but this one will be a sign in that it will be clear.”
The video was posted on Wednesday morning, several days after Shonekan died, with an analysis by the ministry saying Shonekan and Babangida are the two former presidents to whom the prophecy refers.
Babangida earned the ‘Maradona’ monicker due to the way his critics believed he manipulated and “dribbled” Nigerians just like late Argentina great Diego Amando Maradona dribbled his opponents during football matches.
Buhari handed power over to Shonekan’s interim national government following the fallout of the June 12 annulment. Wealth’s church said that was the meaning of their prophet seeing Babangida passing the ball to Shonekan.
This won’t be the first time a Nigerian preacher would predict Babangida’s death. There have also been false reports of his death. The retired general is 80 years old. Shonekan was 85.
