I make art to celebrate the unloved in the society – Korede Bello

Multi-talented Nigerian music act, Korede Bello, has shared the inspiration behind his recently released single titled ‘Bella’. According to the singer, Bella is a uniquely diverse song that also promotes and amplifies the message of inclusivity.

Bello on the song again tapped into his musical prowess, exploring an array of memorable tunes, rhythms, and rhymes relatable to every music lover across the globe. The singer stated that the intention behind his art is ‘to love the unloved and celebrate the overlooked or shunned in our society.’

He went on to state that, ‘the entertainment industry can do more regarding inclusivity and diversity because media shapes how we think, feel and behave. Media can change how we see each other and treat each other.

With the release of ‘Bella’, Korede Bello has made it known that his next body of work will proudly carry the message of inclusivity and diversity as a central theme. In his words; ‘the next project is going to be a sonic expression of what it looks like to show someone that you see them and you value them’ he said.
