OAU students rush Tuface Idibia like scarce petrol as music legend commissions recording studio on Ile-Ife campus [VIDEOS]

Legendary singer Innocent ‘Tuface’ Idibia, on Tuesday, launched a recording studio at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

Tuface, also known as 2Baba, was greeted by a jubilant crowd of OAU students who couldn’t hide their excitement over the megastar’s presence.

OAU Vice Chancellor, Prof Eyitope Ogunbodede, gifted the Nigerian superstar a school bag as a way of appreciating him for turning up for the students. Tuface laughed.

The recording studio Tuface commissioned is housed in the school’s Department of Music and will serve the entire university.

“It should be open to everyone. Everyone can record here,” Tuface said.
