Queen Naomi Silekunola remains Ooni of Ife’s wife — palace spokesperson
Queen Naomi Silekunola’s claim that she was no longer married to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, “is not true.”
This is according to Ooni’s Director of Media and Public Affairs, Moses Olafare.
The palace spokesperson called the news untrue despite the fact that it was announced by Queen Naomi Silekunola on her verified Instagram account.
“This is not the first time such rumours had been peddled.
“There was a time it was reported that she left the palace and the next thing, she gave birth.
“So, the story is not true and it should not be taken seriously,” the royal media aide told Vanguard.
Meanwhile, Naomi Silekunola’s post announcing her split from the monarch was still live on her Instagram account as of the time of publishing this story.
