‘Someone trying to extort money from me over sex tape’ — Tiwa Savage
Afrobeat queen, Tiwa Savage, has accused an unnamed individual of trying to extort money from her over a sex tape she recorded with her current date.
While speaking with power105.1 host, Angie Martins, in New York, Tiwa Savage explained that her road manager had sent her the video as it was forwarded to him by the supposed blackmailer.
When asked if it was the person she was dating that’s behind it, she said “no”.
“The first thing I did was send it to my manager and ask what I would do as the person is asking for money now. My manager then asked about how much are they are trying to get”
“At first I panicked. Even the person I’m dating panicked too. But then, I woke up this morning and I said I won’t pay.
“What if they release it even after I have paid or even come back two months later to request for another ransom?
“They should go ahead and release it. Nobody will make me pay for doing something that is natural.”
