Video: Tiwa Savage receives honorary degree from University of Kent

Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage is being globally celebrated after receiving an honorary doctorate from the University of Kent.

Tiwa was awarded an honorary doctorate on Friday from the University of Kent in Canterbury, England. The ”Koroba” crooner was honoured with Doctor of Music for her inspirational work in the music industry.

Tiwa was one of ten inspirational individuals awarded honorary degrees at the institution’s congregation ceremonies at Canterbury and Rochester cathedrals.
