VIDEO: AFRIMA 2021 president, Mike Dada, explains PwC partnership

Mike Dada, who serves as the president and executive producer of All Africa Music Awards, has stated why AFRIMA is working with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

Since 2014, AFRIMA is regarded as the ultimate recognition of African music globally.

Dada, who spoke with GoldMyne TV on Wednesday, said AFRIMA’s partnership with the multinational professional services network hinges on transparency and credibility.

Dada said the new partnership will also focus on tackling the COVID-19 pandemic, taking action on climate change, addressing health issues and engendering best education practices.

AFRIMA 2021 recently released a star-studded list of nominees in various categories.

Blaq Diamond, Focalistic, Burna Boy, Davido, Aya Nakamura, Wizkid, Omah Lay, Tiwa Savage, Nikita Kering, DJ Tarico, Diamond Platnumz, Gyakie and many others will battle for continental honours next month.

The awards will be broadcast live on 84 television stations in 109 countries from Lagos, Nigeria from November 19-21.

AFRIMA 2021 is also in partnership with the African Union Commission (AUC).
