On the first-ever episode of Woman series, which is aimed at celebrating trail-blazing women in the society who have defied odds and have continued to hold their own, is Nigeria’s Olufunmilola Aduke Iyanda popularly known as Funmi Iyanda.
Miss Iyanda is a media personality who produced and hosted the most popular daytime talk show in the early 2000s, ‘New Dawn With Funmi,’ a show which became the longest-running independently produced show on the NTA network.
Iyanda went on to work on several other shows including ‘Talk With Funmi,’ amongst others.
Today, Funmi Iyanda runs OYA Media Ltd, an international production company aiming to tell ‘great human stories through original universal content crafted across film, television, diverse interactive platforms and events.’
