Why I wept at my daughter’s wedding — Pasuma
Legendary fuji singer Alhaji Wasiu Odetola, professionally known as Pasuma, has opened up about why he shed tears during his daughter’s wedding.
At least 5000 celebrities, dignitaries, family members, friends and other guests graced the wedding of Oyindamola Barakat Odetola to Alhaji Tunde Bello earlier in the year.
The glamourous ceremony was held on April 8, with Pasuma’s tears of joy dominating the airwaves.
The fuji icon, in a chat with GoldMyne TV on Tuesday, explained why he was emotional.
“I’ve sung for a lot of big men who were holding weddings for their daughters,” Pasumsa said.
“It dawned on me on my daughter’s wedding day that I had joined the club of those who successfully trained their daughters to the point of marriage. I couldn’t believe that reality.”
Pasuma also spoke about his plan to use his influence to promote unknown Fuji singers in the near future.
