Zamfara 73: Bandits free 5 students
Five of the students kidnapped from a state-run school in Zamfara have been released, a local source said.
The students were among the 73 bandits abducted from Government Day Secondary School Kaya in Maradun local government area.
A former councillor for Kaya ward of the area, Yahaya Kaya, said his daughter, Amina, was among the students released.
The five students were taken back to their hometown of Kaya around 1am on Thursday, he said.
