23-year old undergraduate wins Ibucap “Super Me” Challenge’s Grand Prize

A 23-year-old student of University of Ibadan, Moses Olaosebikan @directr_m has emerged the grand winner of Ibucap “Super Me” Challenge, an initiative of Shalina Healthcare Nigeria, makers of Ibucap. He was announced by the organisers in Lagos on Tuesday, winning a grand prize of one million naira.

Other winners of the competition include, @tabrenation_ and @ejiyk_, the first and second runner up winning cash prizes of five hundred thousand naira and two hundred thousand naira respectively.

Ibucap “Super Me” challenge, an online contest which had participants making their own videos in different profession emphasizing that in whatever you do, whatever is your career, IBUCAP is always with you in your pains.

Speaking on how the winners emerged, the Brand Manager Analgesics and Antimalarial Portfolio, Shalina Healthcare, Chiuba Nwosu said; “there were 250 contestants in all and the voting were done by both the online followers and a team of selected judges. In the four weeks exercise, ten winners emerged weekly, winning prizes of 20, 000 naira each, resulting to a total of forty winners. These forty were later screened to ten and out of these, three contestants eventually emerged as overall winners.

Presenting the prizes, Ibucap brand ambassador, a Nigerian dancer and choreographer, Kafayat Shafau popularly known as Kaffy, expressed her satisfaction with the process and appreciate the company saying; “Shalina is not just genuine to its course in making quality healthcare products available and affordable but also provide opportunities for an average Nigerian to be successful.”

In their respective remarks, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, West Africa (Pharma) Business Operations, Arun Raj; and Head of Consumer Business West Africa, Suresh Karuppiahsamy were unanimous that the initiative was born out of the company’s determination to provide quality healthcare in Nigeria.
