Davido Shuts Down Ibadan! 30,000 Fans, One Electrifying Night
Davido’s 5Alive Tour has been nothing short of electrifying! The artiste has made sure every state he visits feels his electrifying presence, and this time, it was Oyo State’s turn to experience greatness.
The city of Ibadan came alive as over 30,000 fans filled the Liberty Stadium to witness the Grammy-nominated superstar, Davido, in action!
Before the main event, the crowd was entertained with amazing performances from Oberz, Mayorkun, Dremo, B-Red, Jason Jae amongst others, while Zlatan joined Davido mid performance.
The guest list was equally elite, featuring Oyo State Governor, His Excellency Engineer Seyi Makinde, Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, Adewale Olumide Egbedun and fuji icon “Tayo currency” who all turned up to show support and enjoy the night.
When Davido finally hit the stage, he set it ablaze with timeless hits like “Aye,” “Gobe,” “Fire,”and many more, leaving fans screaming for more. One highlight of the night was when Trinity Guy was called up on stage, he went haywire with excitement.
In “Godfather” (2023), Davido sang, “All the blessings wey dey come my way, they are all from God,” echoing what he sang in “Bless Me,” his 2012 collaboration with May D: “Everything I’ve got today, I owe it all to you.” God’s blessings are very evident in the life of Mr. David Adeleke.
