VIDEO: Army officer arrested after assaulting NYSC member in Calabar

An army officer identified as Lt. Chika Viola Anele, has been filmed apparently assaulting a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

Anele, according to activist Agba Jalingo, made corps member Ezeiruaku Ifeyinwa Fidelia kneel. She then poured water on her head in a dehumanising manner, a video that has gone viral showed.

The assault occurred after an argument between both ladies, Jalingo said.

The activist said that the officer has been arrested and is being interrogated over the incident.
