NYSC: Osun state extends service of 27 corp members

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Osun State has confirmed the service extension of 27 corps members for various infractions.

According to the NYSC, 20 corps members absconded during the 2021 Batch C Stream II service year.

Olayinka Abdulwahab, the Osun NYSC State Coordinator, made this known during the low key passing out ceremony held for the 2021 Batch C Stream II on Thursday, Nov. 17.

A total of 2870 corps members of the 2021 Batch C Stream II were congratulated on successfully completed their one year mandatory service to the nation.

She said: “I hail you for successfully scaling through the four cardinal programmes of the scheme and for being good ambassadors of the scheme at your various places of primary assignment during the service year.

“I commended the doggedness and tenacity of the Corps Members and thank you for impacting the lives of the people of the State positively.

“A total of 20 Corps members absconded, while 27 had their service year extended for various infractions.”
