3 TG Omori Videos That Are Conceptually Devastating

Thanks for the vocals. But why won't you give us videos to match?

Dada/ Young Jonn ft Davido:

Three things are certain with this project; the song is a hit, the director (TG Omori) is a huge Beyonce fan and the casting director received only one day’s notice.

Owing to the vixen’s psychologically damaging, cringy and epileptic moves towards the tail end of the video and the choice of costume, this project has us scratching our heads and wondering why? Her second outfit failed to ignite the sensual allure it was aiming at and only succeeded in affirming the ridiculousness of the entire show.

Buga / Kizz Daniel ft Tekno

This video was probably created as the grown-up version of ‘Teni’s Jo’ but, unfortunately, can only be viewed as a piece picked and dusted from a pile of relics the industry can boast of today. One of the major strong points of content creation is colour and the balanced use of it. On ‘Buga,’ TG overly indulged in this, failing to evoke the intended energy aimed for. Kudos, however, must be given to the director for celebrating the carnival-like culture of the Calabar people.

The song, till tomorrow, will get many dancing and vibing. But the video’s blinding gaudiness won’t let it on the visually-stimulating list.

Ada/ Kizz Daniel

The shock quickly registered the first 2 seconds watching the video, art is subjective but this one is doltish.

Aiming for the old Igbo gospel music vibe, TG failed woefully in his attempt to achieve this. Should there be another client in need of such a theme for their video, M.I’s self-directed ”Monkey” video featuring actress and funny woman Chigurl, should be the guiding light.
