A one-time Nigerian Vice President (1999 – 2007) and Waziri Adamawa, Atiku Abubakar, born 25th November, 1946 in Adamawa state, Nigeria turns 79 today.
From working at the Nigeria Customs Service to building a substantial business portfolio and serving as Vice President from 1999 to 2007 under President Olusegun Obasanjo, Atiku’s career spans both enterprise and public service.
Aside from politics, Atiku has invested in education, founding institutions and funding scholarships, boosting human capital across Nigeria.
