Darey and Waje Thrill Audience at Entertainment Week Africa Finale
Lagos was vibrant from the 17th to the 22nd of November as Entertainment Week Africa (EWA) took over the Live Spot Entertarium, Eko Hotel & Suites, Ebony life place, Alliance Française de Lagos / Mike Adenuga Centre, and the 2025 edition ended with an absolute banger.
This year’s theme, “Close the Gap,” focused on bridging divides in policy, access, infrastructure, and funding that have long limited the continent’s creative industries. From start to finish, the event delivered brilliance, and the Grand Finale was no exception.
The red carpet lit up with stars such as Qing Madi, Frank Edoho, Nkechi Blessing, and Wanni x Handi. Special guests, including the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Idris Aregbe, alongside top industry executives, were also in attendance.
A lineup of exciting entertainment acts kept the energy high throughout. Qing Madi, Jason Jae, and Waje delivered outstanding performances that had the crowd buzzing.
Entertainment Week Africa Founders Darey and Deola Art Alade were also seen enjoying the night. Darey later took the stage to serenade the audience and was joined by Waje for a memorable performance.
