Burna Boy Sells Out US Concert Amid Ongoing Controversy

On 12th November 2025, Burna Boy, an Afrobeats Nigerian Artist held his first show of his “No Sign of Weakness” United States (U.S.) tour at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. During this show, a viral incident changed the tone of the night. Footage shows Burna Boy halting his performance mid‑set after noticing a woman in the front row appeared to be asleep. He called her and the man with her, demanded that the woman be removed, and refused to continue until they left.

That act triggered widespread backlash that proved costly as ticket sales tanked, with reports claiming that only around 2,000 tickets were sold out of an 18,000‑seat venue for one of his subsequent concerts. Eventually, tour promoters cancelled at least two U.S. dates, shows in Minneapolis (Scheduled 28th November 2025) and Chicago (set for 1st December 2025).

However, on Wednesday, 3rd December, 2025, Burna Boy held another concert at TD Garden in Boston, United States. This was a sold-out concert, signalling forgiveness from the part of fans and greatness on the part of the afro star, Burna boy.

Midway, he stopped his performance to give a special thank you to all the fans who made it to his concert.

What was supposed to be a triumphant global tour launch for Burna Boy but turned into a cautionary tale is definitely starting to get better, rebuilding trust.
