Mr Ibu reacts amid backlashes over support for Tinubu to emerge president come 2023 [VIDEO]
Notable movie star John Okafor, better known as Mr Ibu, has reacted to backlashes following a video of him drumming support for the ex-Lagos governor Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
A video of Mr Ibu and some respected veterans in Nollywood at an event, tagged ‘South West Stands with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’ made the rounds on social media lately, with the actors seemingly endorsing Tinubu for president come 2023.
This video generated lots of backlashes online as people were of the view that the actors had been bought over by the politician.

Reacting to this, Mr Ibu in a video reiterated the fact that he is an entertainer and was invited to do what he knows best, that is to act.
According to him, he owes his loyalty to the ex-vice president Atiku Abubakar whom he said has done a lot for him.
