ON YOUR 64TH YEAR OF ASCENSION TO THE THRONE OF YOUR FATHERS, KABIYESI ACCEPT MY FELICITATIONS
Oba Dr. Sikiru Olukayode Adetona, Ogbagba Agbetewole II, the 55th Royal Monarch of Ijebu land, as you are celebrating your 64th year of ascending the throne of your fathers, today 2nd April, 2024. No doubt, the Anikinaiya ruling House had gifted us the entire Ijebu people with the greatest son in you whom today is not only celebrating your 64th of Kingship, but celebrating the fact peace, tranquility, harmony, growth, and development that have reigned along with you since April 2nd, 1960, the same year the giant of Africa, Nigeria gained her independence from Britain. Alayeluwa, we Ijebu people are indeed blessed to have you, as our Royal Monarch.
As you turn 64 on the throne of your forefathers, Ogbagba Agbetewole II, I Wasiu Olasunkanmi Ayinde Adesanya Marshal, the Otunba Afidipotemole and Olori Omooba Akile Ijebu on behalf of my family and the Fidipote rulling house join millions sons and daughters of Ijebu land, home and in Diaspora to rejoice with the royal family, the good people of Ijebu Ode, Ogun state citizens and the entire Yoruba land as your reign and traditional rulership have not only been beneficial to Ijebu people alone but the entire Nigeria has benefited from your rich and noble leadership in the past six decades. Politically, economically, in the areas of healthcare services, educationally, and indeed peacefully we have enjoyed priceless contributions from your firm, assertive and disciplined personality, during military regimes and even now that civil rule is in place.
Your standout roles during the inglorious Sanni Abacha reign can never be wished away or forgotten so easily.
Alayeluwa, as you continue to enjoy God’s awesomeness and attention in your reign, may it please Him to keep you in good health, comfort, peace of mind and happiness to continue to rule over a largely peaceful, progressive, and fast developing Ijebu land.
