Over the years, several rumors about certain celebrities started off as that until they were proven to be right.

Yul Edochie taking a second wife

Social media was agog with excitement after actor Yul Edochie stated that he had taken a second wife. Yul, who is the son of veteran actor Pete Edochie, made the announcement via his social media page prompting many to drag him silly.

The actor who made this announcement himself had many in shock as he had on countless occasions spoken highly of his first wife May Aligwe, whom he revealed stood by him for 16 years.

Taking to social media to introduce his new son to the world, he wrote;
“His name is STAR DIKE MUNACHIMSO YUL-EDOCHIE. Born by my second wife @JudyAustin and I love him so much, just as much as I love my other children.”

Social media users wasted no time in cussing Yul out. With so much pressure and hate on him, Yul denied the news, saying it was all one big fable. Not long after, the actor again took to socal media to affirm that he indeed took a second wife who has brought immense blessings to him and his family.

Bae U/Kemz Mama/ Domestic violence

Nigerian comics Adebayo Ridwan popularly known has Bae U and Kemi Ikuseedun aka Kem Mama, became the topic of discussion sometime in May when rumors surfaced about Bae U, hitting his partner Kemi. Responding to the allegations, Bae U owned up to the domestic violence allegations saying;

“Now about the domestic violence,  Yes yes yes we had that in our relationship but it was only shouting, insults and dragging of our phones, there’s nothing I have said to that she’s not said worst… and I am not saying that makes it rig but… when we have a misunderstanding, she packs loads and leaves little things”.

“If I tell her that babe I think you should go home for a while and check your family, she would say, I’m sure someone is coming to see you that’s why you want me to leave and because I don’t want her to doubt me, I always apologise and let her stay. I have never for once beat her never did I hit her”.

“All that’s making her angry is because this time I chose not to beg her to come back home and that was because I just wanted her to be the one to apologise for once”.

Mercy Aigbe/Adeola Kazim/Funso Kazim

Not long after it was announced actress Mercy Aigbe had tied the knot with businessman Adeola Kazim, allegations of infidelity followed suit. It was reported that Mercy did not land the said man by the grace of God, she snatched him from his first wife. At first, mercy denied the allegations then owned up to her ways. In her defence, the couple were dealing with some irreconciliable married issues before she sauntered in.

Adeoti Kazim’s first wife, wasted no time in countering this new claim by Mercy Aigbe saying not once did she agree to her husband marrying a second wife.
