Legalize” is another shallow attempt by Eazi at re-treading former glories as the record exuded major lazy and shallow vibes. He, however, hit the jackpot with the ”love” theme employed on the record as well as the soulmate stance ethereally incorporated into this art.

The hooks are reassuringly comforting despite the immediate familiarity felt, upon the first listen as it sounded like a brazen copy of a previous single. His vocals should not be relegated to the rear as this came in handy, doing a fine job of assuring/reassuring his woman and fans alike of his passion for the art and soon-to-be wife.

Michael Brun, E Kelly, and, Nonso Amadi, producers who worked on this record, did an amazing job as ”Legalize‘ production-wise was expertly helmed. All three creatives infused their essence in the production of this piece, giving a much slicker, glossier, and most importantly, a reasonably eclectic sound to the Banku genre; the expertise of all three men alongside Eazi’s name is sure to see ”Legalize” become an airplay staple, and nothing other than that.

That the record will catapult this genre into newer musical territories or have a reasonable amount of impact on our musical souls is not assured even as most creators hope for this. Although a pleasant love song that most wedding guests will bop to, sadly this may just be it for this record.

Not only has Eazi created a new lucrative venture for himself, but he has also effortlessly birthed a whole new form of escapism for lovebirds who relish the idea of love than the actual experience of it.
