Gunmen kill Chike Akunyili, husband to late NAFDAC hero, Dora Akunyili — report
Unknown assailants have killed Chike Akunyili on his way to Abuja, a report said.
Chike Akunyili was husband to celebrated hero and late director-general of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) Professor Dora Akunyili.
Chike Akunyili was killed in the early hours of Wednesday while on his way to attend a memorial in honour of his late wife in Abuja, Vanguard reported citing a family source.
The attack reportedly happened in Anambra state.
